A month before he makes his annual rounds, Santa Claus stopped by Sherman Green Saturday, Nov. 24, when the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce hosted Santa’s Arrival.

Local organizations set up on the green. A portion of the proceeds from all participants will be donated to charity, and many of the organizations will use all of the money made at Santa’s Arrival to further their own or other charitable causes.

There was a children’s petting zoo and horse and buggy rides, available from 10:15 to 2:30, are sponsored by Bigelow Tea, Fairfield Living Magazine-Moffly Media, Splash Car Wash, and Massage Envy.

The Kiwanis Club will provided breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers.

More photos will appear in this week’s Fairfield Sun.

Information about the event is available from the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce at 203-255-1011.
