Fairfield Public Library receives NASA@My Library Grant

The Fairfield Public Library has been awarded a NASA@My Library grant from the American Library Association, one of 75 libraries chosen from more than 500 applicants and the only library in Connecticut selected.

The NASA@My Library initiative was created by the National Center for Interactive Learning (NCIL) at the Space Science Institute (SSI), in partnership with the ALA Public Programs Office, the Pacific Science Center, Cornerstones of Science, and Education Development Center. NASA@ My Library is made possible through the support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate as part of its STEM Activation program.

Look for upcoming programs relating to NASA topics in the year ahead. The first program is planned for August when there will be a solar eclipse.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. For more information about programs, visit fairfieldpubliclibrary.org, or call 203-256-3160.
