Fairfield University is hosting an event called the ‘State of the State, Tuesday, Nov. 20, that will explore business in Connecticut and will feature Gov. Dannel Malloy delivering the keynote address at 5:45 p.m.
It will take place at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business, which is hosting the event with numerous business associations.
Dr. Donald Gibson, dean of the Dolan School of Business, will moderate a panel discussion at 3:30 p.m. about the current economy’s affect on the restructuring, private equity, venture capital, and technology sectors.
There will also be a panel discussion at 4:30 p.m. moderated by Commissioner Catherine H. Smith on doing business in the state.
The event is co-sponsored by an array of business organizations: CT — Turnaround Management Association, ACG Connecticut, CVG and CT Technology Council.
