Softball: Fairfield’s Treglia NESCAC Player of the Week

Trinity College junior Michelle Treglia, out of Fairfield Warde, has been named as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Softball Player of the Week on Monday, as announced by the league office.

Treglia batted .500 with eight runs and seven RBIs in five Trinity wins last week.

She added three walks for a .579 on-base percentage and hit her first-career homer for a .688 slugging percentage.

Treglia had three multi-hit games, three multi-run games, and three multi-RBI games for the Bantams, who became the first divisional team to sweep Tufts.

On the season, Treglia is batting .352 with 18 RBIs and 21 runs scored in 26 games.

Trinity is 17-9 on the season.
