No dogs will be allowed on Jennings Beach and Penfield Beach Nov. 9-16 due to hazardous unknown materials on the beach, such as metals, wood shards, glass, etc.
The ban will be reassessed next week.
Cleanup crews will be on hand throughout next week to clear the beaches of dangerous items due to both Hurricane Sandy and the Nor’easter.
