Executive chef, Frederic Kieffer with Artisan Restaurant will share his story during the Fairfield Public Library’s What’s Cooking Series Monday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m.
What’s Cooking is a series featuring local chefs. Guest chefs will share the back stories behind their cooking lives, the challenges of running a restaurant/food market and talk about a favorite cookbook or recipe. Artisan, a farm-to-table restaurant promotes sustainable agriculture through seasonally inspired menus. Growing up in the countryside west of Paris, Kieffer spent his summers working in local restaurants where he discovered a true passion for cooking.
